Retina, Laser and Phaco Surgery specialist. Dr.Dilara Khatun is a renowned vitreo-retina surgeon in Bangladesh. She passed MBBS on 1993 from Rajshahi Medical College. From 1993 to 2011, she worked at BIRDEM Hospital and earned vast experiences by working on the diabetic patients. She gained experiences in Diabetic retinopathy, LASER Procedures and Phaco surgery. She passed her Diploma in Ophthalmology from Dhaka University and as well as earned ICO accreditation respectively. On 2011 she passed FCPS and being enthusiastic in vitreo-retina she started Fellowship she worked Diabetic Retinopathyas a consultant there till November 2013. Now she is working as a full time Consultant at Bangladesh eye Hospital. She has special interest in Phaco surgery, Diabetic LASER Procedures and vitro-retinal diseases.
Dr.Dilara Khatun is also active in research and published more than seven papers in local and foreign journals. She regularly attends at various ophthalmological conferences at home and abroad.
