Prof. Dr. Md. Abu Bakar passed MBBS from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College in 1980. He obtained FCPS in Internal Medicine from B C P S in 1987. After that he worked as consultant, Medicine in Faridpur General Hospital. In 1995, Prof. Dr. Md. Abu Bakar joined in Khulna Medical College as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and worked there in different capacities for 19 years. He served as Professor & Head of the department of Medicine and also was the Vice Principal & Principal of Khulna Medical College. Prof. Dr. Md. Abu Bakar received fellowship F A C P, from American College of Physicians, USA in 2005. He also obtained FRCP in 2008 from Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, UK. Prof. Bakar has 41 scientific publications in national & international scientific Journals.
