Specialist in Oncology (Cancer). Training with clinical attachment in Medical Oncology at National Cancer Center, Singapore, ( 2005-2006). He is a founder member of Shanti Oncology and Palliative Care Unit. He is the prime in Bangladesh to setup Ambulatory Treatment Unit for cancer patients in early 2006. He has established group practice with multi disciplinary approach for cancer treatment under one roof.He is working as coordinator and Honorary Medical Consultant of ASIC Palliative Care Unit, Dhanmondi, Dhaka, which is the only PCU for childhood cancer patients in Bangladesh. He is also working as Honorary Project Director of Ashic Oncology & Palliative Care Centre at Shaymoli which is serving underserved people. He is working dedicatedly in the field of Preventive Oncology and Palliative Care in this country.He has attended a post graduation course in Palliative Medicine, Singapore Medical Association. He is trained in Oncology Pharmacy form NCC as well.He has completed MPhil from BSMMU in 2004 and obtained FCPS in 2007.
