He acquired his MBBS in 1989 from University of Rajshahi.After successful completion of internship training he was closely attached withtraining in the then IPGM & R(PresentBSMMU) in the department of Haematology & Internal Medicine under renowned Haematologist LateProfessor MA Rashid MRCPath,FRCPath and Professor MN Alam MRCP,FRCP respectively.Then he completed FCPS in Haematology from Bangladesh College of Physician & Surgeons(BCPS) Dhaka in January 1998.There after he assigned in different Medical Colleges of Government Peoples Republic of Bangladesh in the positions of Lecturer,Assistant Professor & Associate Professor till August 2017. He isnow actively working in the department of Haematology Chittagong Medical College & Hospital as a Professor & Head.He is the pioneer in the establishment of Haematology in Chittagong &founder; of the Department of Haematology in Chittagong Medical College & Hospital in 2008.He has also Clinical fellowship training from National University Hospital Singapore in Haematology-Haemato Oncology.Agood number of publications he has published in different national & International journals.His teaching experiences in different positions in Haematology is about 20 years..He is active international member of American Society of Haematology (ASH) since 2010 & Life member of Society of Haematology Bangladesh.He has an experience to attend different medical conferences in Singapore,Malaysia,UK,Australia & USA including ASH annual conference.
