Dr. Syeda Ishrat Jahan completed her graduation from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College in 1994. After completing her internship she received practical training in Skin & VD from Dhaka Medical College. Then she traveled to Singapore and joined National Skin Centre, Singapore in 1999 and obtained Diploma in Dermatology in 2000 from National University Hospital Singapore. Then she left the institutions and move to the UK and attached with St. John’s Institute of Dermatology, St. Thomas Hospital, London, UK. There she was a Research Student in Clinical Dermatology. She obtained her Postgraduate (MSc.) degree in Clinical Dermatology from the St. John’s Institute(one of the renowned Dermatological Institute in Europe) under King’s College, University of London, the UK in 2003. She worked for six months at Queen Elizabeth Hospital London & King’s Hospital, London, Department of Genitourinary Medicine, London. She also attended Association for Sexual health and HIV (BASHH) Course in STIs and HIV, London, UK (which Includes Sexual dysfunction or Erectile dysfunction, Sexually transmitted disease, HIV and AIDS, Discharge problem in female and male as well.) She has also achieved training on dermato-surgery, Laser and Cutaneous Cosmetic Surgery, Cryosurgery, Chemical peeling and phototherapy from St. John’s Institute of Dermatology, in St. Thomas Hospital & Guy’s Hospital, London. She has special training in pediatric dermatology. She also obtained course and training in Dark ground microscopy from Royal London Hospital. She has gained advanced training in her respective field across the world and Participation in a large number of international workshops, seminars, symposiums, and conferences enriched her skills and caregiving attitude as satisfactory level. She is a member of British Association for Sexual health and HIV (BASHH).Prior to joining she was working as a consultant in DNS diagnostic & Consultation Centre, Gulshan and National Skin Care Centre Malibag, Dhaka. She joins Square Hospital as an Associate Consultant of Dermatology.
